Decades back he used to write for the Times of India (TOI) . Then, if I remember correctly, he went away to Dubai and joined the Khaleej Times.
Now he is back writing for the TOI. One has had enough of Bachhi Karkaria and Jug Suraiya style of humour and needed some relief.

'Biggest celebrity murder', shouts one channel.
'Lady kills sister', shrieks the other channel.
'No it was not sister but her daughter that was killed', blasts the third one.
Names of Peter Mukherjea, Indrani Mukherji, Mikhail Bora and Sanjay Khanna are thrown up in the war of the channels.
Relax.Relax. A crime is alleged to have been committed.
Let the law take its course.
No. The nation does NOT want to know the day to day details.
I have decided NOT to watch 'Times Now' and NDTV news channels henceforth.
I am going back to Doordarshan News.
