The Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change is  to hold a seminar on May 16, on the improvement of gaushalas or cow shelters in the country.

The Seminar is likely to cost Rs. 21 lakhs. (news) -

We know that generally the major components of expenditure of any national seminar are:
 (i) air fare and boarding + lodging of the participants;
 (ii) Hire charges of a venue in a 5* hotel;
(iii) Lunch & dinner at the venue of the Seminar
(iv) Hiring of cars and taxis for the participants and the organisers.
(v) Hospitality for the Press.

One anxiously awaits the recommendations of this Seminar.

This is besides the monetised cost of the time spent by the organisers.
