'Rang de Basanti' - by K.J.S.Chatrath

(Source: The Tribune, Chandigarh, November 1, 2017)
What is in a colour after all?

By the way, one understands that all the state transport buses of U.P. are also going to be painted saffron. Knowledgeable persons may please advise if it is true or not.

But one sincerely hopes that this exercise will help in reducing , if not altogether eliminating,  the spate of unfortunate children's deaths in Gorakhpur Hospital, U.P.

'In praise of beauty...and talent'- by K.J.S.Chatrath

Recently I watched the Pakistani drama 'Mohabat tum sey nafrat hai' on Youtube. I was so charmed by the beauty and extraordinary acting abilities of the heroine Aiza Khan that I took a few photos of the screen while watching the series. Take a look:

May I invite my readers to see my earlier photo article also : 'Ten pretty and extremely talented Pakistani TV actresses' - by K.J.S.Chatrath . http://anaap-shnaap.blogspot.in/2016/05/ten-pretty-and-extremely-talented.html

'कभी हम भी तुम भी जवान थे ...' - K.J.S.Chatrath

'4 Ps in danger, says 1/2 Nobel Prize Awardee' - by K.J.S.Chatrath

"4 Ps in danger, says  Satyarthi." 1/2 Nobel Prize Awardee "stresses need to focus on people, planet, profit & peace." (The Tribune, Chandigarh, October 13, 2017).

If only things could be improved by such poor jugglery of words!

'68 more kids died in Gorakhpur Hospital during last 4 days' - Shame on us all.....by K.J.S.Chatrath

Take a look at today's (23rd October 2017) Times of India. Notice a small heading in red ink on the left hand side.

It says:

"68 kids die at BRD in 4 days: At least 68 children have died at BRD Medical College in Gorakhpur in four days. Of these, 42 deaths took place in the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and 24 in the paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)...."

Shame on us all!

'Thus spake the 1/2 Nobel Prize awardee... ...' - by K.J.S.Chatrath

"Together we must break the shackles of Silence.

Society needs a moral resurgence where child safety emotionally binds us and defines political agenda in India..."

Thus spake the 1/2 Nobel Prize awardee Mr. Kailash Satyarthi while on a 35 day 'Padyatra'. (The Hindustan Times, October 16, 2017)

You can not possibly pack in more cliches in two sentences.

Mr. Satyarthi surely has his heart in the right place but he should seriously consider not only coming out with better ideas but also having a new speech writer....

"Chilling 'Me Too' accounts" - by K.J.S.Chatrath

I have been stunned at reading the chilling # accounts of ‘Me Too’.

Are we living on a planet where a portion of half the population (women) are all through their lives are being molested/scared of being molested by a portion of the other half (males)!

I have been advocating strict punishment for rapists, i.e.
(i)              Physical Castration
(ii)            Photos of physically castrated rapists to be displayed on TV.
(iii)          Re-enactment of the repealed Indian Whipping Act with some safeguards. Convicted rapists to be given a minimum of 24 lashes.

Respectful salute to all the braves ladies who have taken the courage to come out in the open, &

Shame on us Men!
